KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi visited the Consulate of Qatar in Karachi, where he met the Acting Consul General and expressed heartfelt condolences on the demise of the former Ameer of Qatar.

During the visit, Governor Hashmi signed the condolence book and conveyed his sympathies on behalf of the government and people of Sindh to the leadership and the brotherly people of the State of Qatar, said a statement issued from the Governor's House on Wednesday.

He said that the late leader would always be remembered with great respect for his visionary leadership, statesmanship, and invaluable contributions to the progress, prosperity, and development of Qatar.

Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi prayed that Almighty Allah may grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, elevate his ranks, and bless the bereaved family, the leadership of Qatar, and the people of the country with patience and strength to bear this irreparable loss.

During the meeting, Governor Nehal Hashmi and the Acting Consul General also discussed the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, as well as ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and mutual ties in areas of common interest.
