Kamran Tessori has declared a relief program where motorcyclists will get 3 liters of free petrol until Eid. The announcement is to assist commuters who have been fighting with the new hike in fuel prices in the country.

With reference to the initiative, the Governor stated that he will be visiting various petrol pumps randomly per day until Eid. At such visits, 3 liters of petrol will be offered free of charge to the motorcyclists attending the pump.

Relief for Daily Commuters

The relocation occurs at a time when the financial cost of petrol prices has risen among millions of Pakistanis. The most common means of transport among workers, students and small business owners is the use of motorcycles, mostly in large cities such as Karachi.

The Governor wants to make the transportation costs lower by providing people who rely on motorcycles in their daily transportation lower by offering them free petrol.

Random Petrol Pump Visits Until Eid

Based on the announcement, Kamran Tessori will make daily random visits to petrol stations in Karachi ahead of Eid. This initiative will enable motorcyclists who are present during such visits to get free fuel of 3 liters.

The Governor explained that the intention of such visits is to be in direct contact with citizens and to make sure that the relief is delivered to regular commuters.

Public Reaction to the Initiative

The news has elicited both positive and negative responses on social media. The move has been embraced by many citizens who state that it will see the daily travelling cost of the motorcyclists reduced. The necessity of the long-term solutions to the increasing fuel prices has been noted by others.

Despite the debate, the initiative is being viewed as a short-term relief measure for the public ahead of Eid.

Officials say the program focuses on helping the common commuter, particularly those who rely on motorcycles for work and daily transportation.

With Eid approaching, the initiative is expected to benefit thousands of riders who are dealing with higher fuel costs while managing their everyday expenses.
