Governor Kundi expresses grief over fatal accident involving JUI leader’s squad

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow and grief over a road accident involving the squad vehicle of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leader Maulana Asjad Mahmood.

The Governor expressed condolences over the martyrdom of two volunteers in the incident and termed it a tragic loss.

He contacted Maulana Asjad Mahmood over the telephone, offering prayers for the departed souls and patience for the bereaved families.

The Governor also inquired after the well-being of Maulana Asjad Mahmood and prayed for his health and safety.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that he stands with the affected families in this difficult time and shares their grief.
