Governor Kundi condemns Quetta suicide blast

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday strongly condemned the suicide blast at Chaman Railway Crossing in Quetta and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious human lives.

The Governor said cowardly terrorists could not weaken the resolve of the nation by targeting innocent civilians.

He said Pakistan was a united and determined nation, and the entire country stood shoulder to shoulder with the security forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.

Governor Kundi said anti-peace elements wanted to spread fear and destabilize the country, adding that the nation would foil all such nefarious designs.

He said such cowardly attacks could not shake public morale and reiterated that the whole nation was united against terrorism.

The Governor prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to bear the loss with patience.

He also expressed best wishes for the early and complete recovery of the injured and said the entire nation stood with the affected families in this difficult time.
