Governor KP felicitates Nihal Hashmi on appointment as Governor Sindh

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday congratulated Syed Nihal Ahmad Hashmi on his appointment as Governor Sindh.

In a telephonic conversation, Governor Kundi extended his warm felicitations to the newly appointed Governor on behalf of himself and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that Nihal Hashmi was an experienced and long-standing political worker who had played an active role in national politics for a long time.

He expressed confidence that Nihal Hashmi would perform his constitutional and administrative responsibilities with dedication as Governor Sindh.

The KP Governor said that Hashmi would play an effective role in promoting democratic values in the province, strengthening coordination between the federation and provinces, and working for the welfare of the people.

He also conveyed his best wishes for Syed Nihal Ahmad Hashmi and expressed hope that under his leadership, institutional harmony and the process of development in Sindh would further strengthen.
