Governor KP congratulates newly elected CM GB

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday congratulated the newly elected Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan, Amjad Hussain, on taking oath of his office.

In a congratulatory message, the Governor expressed confidence that the new chief minister would utilize his abilities, experience and commitment to public service for the development, prosperity and welfare of the people of Gilgit Baltistan.

Kundi said that the Pakistan Peoples Party believed in public service, democratic values and a strong federation, expressing hope that the new provincial government would take effective measures to come up to the expectations of the people.

The Governor also conveyed his best wishes to Amjad Hussain and prayed that Allah Almighty grant him the strength and wisdom to discharge his responsibilities successfully and bless Gilgit Baltistan with lasting peace, progress and prosperity.
