QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Tuesday said that despite different political views and diversity, Pashtun Baloch political leaders and tribal elders of Balochistan have maintained mutual respect, tolerance and harmony.

He expressed these views while talking to former Federal Minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, members of the Provincial Assembly Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Syed Zafar Agha and Faiq Jamali in separate meetings.

The Governor said that even today, our dignitaries and interlocutors stand as pillars of mutual trust, they would not just tolerate differences of opinion but also build bridges and create a sense of security which is very important in changing circumstances, this is our spirit of coexistence which gains strength from shared values.

Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that those valuable personalities associated with knowledge and politics who teach the new generation political awareness and respect for others are disappearing very fast which is a moment of concern for all of us.

He said that the social fabric of Balochistan is very unique, which is not within the reach of everyone to understand properly, the political and tribal relations here, embedded in our glorious national values and traditions, are based on mutual respect, tolerance and harmony, but our political and social traditions are not static, but they are dynamic, adaptable and peaceful which set new paths of humanity and progress.

The Governor mentioned that there is a need for us to respect this balance between tradition and development and teach our youth the sustainable human values of development, humanity and tolerance.

He said that it is a matter of pride that our province is a land rich in precious minerals as well as a wonderful history, traditions and friendly relations.

Jaffar Khan Mandokhel urged the youth to respect their ancestors, learn to respect differences of opinion and take the initiative in case of disagreement and resentment with others.
