ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Thursday stated that the government’s efforts have contributed significantly to achieving economic stability in the country.

Speaking to a private television channel, he credited the prime minister and his team for improving the national economy.

He noted that the ongoing US-Iran conflict has had a negative impact on the global economy. Pakistan has actively played a role in international diplomacy and expressed hope that these efforts would lead to lasting peace in the region, he added.

Commenting on the US-Iran situation, he said that both countries are inclined toward ending the conflict and resolving their issues through dialogue.

He expressed optimism that Pakistan’s peace initiatives would yield positive results.
