Filmmaker Rohit Shetty teased the return of the beloved Golmaal franchise, which has already delivered four hit films, exciting fans of the nostalgic comedy series.

The director took to his Instagram to share a memorable video featuring moments from the 2006 film, reliving the iconic era.

His caption read, “Driving down the memory lane! How old were you when you watched the first Golmaal?” He added, “We promise you’ll relive those happy days very soon…filming in progress”.

Fans were overjoyed by the announcement, sharing how old they were when they first watched the film and the memories associated with it.

In March, the filmmaker shared another throwback while reflecting on 20 years since the release of the first Golmaal film. “The credit goes to you, my audience. Over the past 20 years, we entertained you, and yes, sometimes disappointed you, but we have always been honest in our work”.

The video featured the team reuniting once again with the message: “My fabulous team and I are on a journey to entertain you as we start filming G5”.

Shetty also posted pictures of the cast members on motorcycles, with fans especially excited about the return of Sharman Joshi to the franchise after appearing only in the first film.
