Gold slides over 1% on Monday

WORLD CAPITALS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 13th Jul, 2026) Gold slid over 1 percent on Monday, with spot gold dropping 1.5 percent to $4,059.11 an ounce by 0356 GMT.

US gold futures for August delivery were down 1.1 percent at $4,067.10.

Elsewhere, spot silver declined 2.9 percent to $58.14 per ounce, platinum shed 1.8 percent to $1,598.48, and palladium fell 2.3 percent to $1,247.27.
