Price of 24-karat of gold reaches 455, 136 in local markets following increase in the global markets
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June 15th, 2026) Following the global trend, local bullion markets in Pakistan on Monday witnessed major increases at the start of the business week.
The price of gold per tola surged by Rs10,800 to reach Rs455,136, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs9,720 to Rs389,600.
Silver prices also moved upward in both global and domestic markets. International silver rose by $2.30 to $70.30 per ounce, which pushed local rates higher as well.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>In Pakistan, silver per tola gained Rs230 to settle at Rs7,509, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs197 to Rs6,396.
Market analysts said precious metals remained under strong buying pressure amid global economic developments, including geopolitical easing and fluctuations in energy prices, which continued to support demand for gold and silver.
Earlier, in the international market, gold extended its gains for a third consecutive session, rising by $108 per ounce to reach $4,327.
