Gold prices spike by Rs3,700 per tola across Pakistan

All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association says price of one tola of gold surged to Rs 543,262, while price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 3,172, reaching Rs 465,759  

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-March 11^th, 2026) Gold prices witnessed a sharp rise across Pakistan, with an increase of Rs 3,700 per tola, industry officials said on Wednesday.

All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association said that the price of one tola of gold surged to Rs 543,262, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 3,172, reaching Rs 465,759.

The association attributed the hike to movements in the international market, where the price of gold increased by $37 per ounce, taking the global rate to $5,205 per ounce.

Experts said that fluctuations in global gold prices, coupled with local demand, continue to influence the domestic market, urging investors to monitor trends closely.
