ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Wednesday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 6,800 to settle at Rs 470,362 compared to Rs 477,162 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 5,830 to Rs 403,259 from Rs 409,089, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 5,344 to Rs 369,667 from Rs 375,011.
The rates of silver also witnessed a downward trend, as per tola silver prices declined by Rs 125 to Rs 7,974 from Rs 8,099, whereas the price of 10 grams silver decreased by Rs 107 to Rs 6,836 from Rs 6,943.
In the international market, gold prices decreased by $68 to settle at $4,480 against $4,548, while silver prices fell by $1.25 to $74.90, according to the Association.
