Gold price rises to Rs534,562 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 10 grams of gold also increases by Rs 2,572 to Rs 460,015 in markets across Pakistan  

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Feb 23^rd, 2026) Gold prices surged in both international and domestic markets, with one tola of gold in Pakistan reaching Rs 534,562, marking an increase of Rs 3,000.

In the international bullion market, gold rose by $30 per ounce to $5,138, influencing the domestic surge.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,572 to PKR 460,015.

Silver prices followed a similar trend, with one tola rising by PKR 146 to PKR 9,094 and 10 grams reaching PKR 7,796 after a PKR 125 increase.

The analysts attributed the rise to global market trends and increased demand for precious metals as a safe-haven investment.
