Gold price jumps to Rs523,962 per tola in Pakistan

Price of 10 grams of gold climbes by Rs6,773, and reaches Rs449,212 in the local markets

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Feb 19^th, 2026) The price of gold in Pakistan surged on Wednesday, with the rate per tola rising to Rs523,962, an increase of Rs7,900, All Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Association confirmed on Thursday.

The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs6,773, and reached Rs449,212.

The association said that the rise reflects ongoing fluctuations in both local and international markets. In the global arena, gold prices gained $79, trading at $5,012 per ounce.

The traders and investors are closely monitoring the market as the gold continues to act as a hedge amid economic uncertainty.

The increase is expected to influence both jewellery sales and investment decisions in the country.
