KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June 12nd, 2026) The gold prices witnessed a sharp rally on Friday, with the price of the yellow metal soaring by Rs7,250 per tola in the local market after international gold rates climbed by $72.50 per ounce.

The market figures showed that the gold in the global bullion market gained $72.50 to reach $4,175.30 per ounce, triggering a significant increase in domestic prices.

Following the international trend, the price of 24-karat gold in local bullion markets rose by Rs7,250 per tola to settle at Rs439,966.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs6,525, reaching Rs375,947.

Silver prices also recorded notable gains in the domestic market.

The rate of silver per tola climbed by Rs190 to Rs7,079, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs171 to Rs6,028.

Bullion traders attributed the latest surge to strong momentum in international precious metals markets, which directly affects domestic rates. Market participants said investor demand and movements in global financial markets continued to influence the direction of gold and silver prices.

The latest increase has pushed precious metal prices further upward, with traders and investors closely monitoring international developments for indications of future market trends.
