Imran Abbas said this was not an isolated incident. He noted that Pakistan has faced many cases of child abuse, rape, murder, acid attacks, and other violent crimes over the years. He added that such crimes affect women, children, and men alike.
The actor urged the government, police, and policymakers to introduce tougher laws and ensure strict enforcement. He said criminals involved in such acts should receive quick and strong punishment. According to him, harsh penalties can help stop others from committing similar crimes.
He also rejected victim blaming attitudes. Imran stressed that innocent children can never be blamed for crimes committed against them. He called for greater efforts to teach respect, kindness, and human values from an early age.
