GIMS Gambat conducts transparent recruitment test for Mehar Hospital staff

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) The Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) successfully conducted a recruitment examination for various staff positions at GIMS Hospital Mehar, under the leadership of its Director and Founder, Captain (Retired) Dr. Rahim Bux Bhatti.

The test was organized by Aror University at the GIMS Gambat campus to fill vacancies for Doctors, Laboratory Technicians, CT Scan Technicians, X-Ray Technicians, Dispensers, Staff Nurses, and Head Nurses.

According to GIMS Media consultant Jameel Haider on Monday, nearly 600 qualified healthcare professionals appeared for the examination, reflecting strong interest in career opportunities at the public sector institute.

The process was overseen jointly by faculty from Aror University, GIMS Gambat, and GIMS Hospital Mehar to ensure a transparent, fair, and merit based assessment, with no recommendations entertained.

Speaking on the occasion, a GIMS spokesperson said the recruitment drive is part of the institute’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services at GIMS Hospital Mehar by hiring skilled professionals on merit.
