GIMS declares hospital parking free for patients’ families & visitors

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) The Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) administration has taken a public-alm friendly step by declaring hospital parking completely free, on the directives of GIMS Director Dr Raheem Bux Bhatti.

According to families of patients visiting the hospital on Thursday, the decision has provided major relief to patients and their attendants who previously had to bear additional expenses in the form of parking fees.

Vehicles will now remain parked under the supervision of GIMS’ own security, which will not only save them parking charges but also give them a greater sense of security.

Citizens have lauded the step taken by GIMS Director Dr Raheem Bux Bhatti, saying that GIMS always takes decisions to reduce public hardship which are extremely important for public welfare.

They expressed hope that similar steps would continue in the future.
