GCWUS strengthens cooperation with export industry

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Vice Chancellor Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) Prof Dr Shazia Bashir visited MIR YOUSAF (Pvt.) Ltd. and held a meeting with its Chief Executive Officer Sohail Akhtar Mir to strengthen academia-industry linkages.

According to a press release issued by the university on Wednesday, General Manager Tahir Rashid was also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, matters relating to collaborative research, innovation-driven partnerships and industry-oriented academic engagement were discussed in detail. Both sides expressed keen interest in developing long-term cooperation to create opportunities for students, support local industry and contribute to the sustainable development of Sialkot and the country.
