Gas leak explosion in Soldier Bazaar leaves one dead, nine injured

building near a private school in Soldier Bazaar area of Karachi on Thursday, officials said.

According to police and rescue sources, the blast occurred in Gul Rana Colony when accumulated gas ignited

Police from Soldier Bazaar station, along with rescue teams, reached the site immediately after receiving information and cordoned off the area to ensure safety.

A search and rescue operation was launched to evacuate residents and assess the extent of damage.

Officials confirmed that nine injured persons were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment, while one individual succumbed to injuries in the incident.
