Free Urdu AI Workshop 2026 held at IUB

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Free urdu AI Workshop 2026 was organised at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), focusing on the balanced integration of social sciences and artificial intelligence.

The academic session brought together faculty members and senior scholars who discussed the growing role of AI in education and research.

In her inaugural address, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti, highlighted that in the modern era, artificial intelligence can open new dimensions for research and teaching in the social sciences when used responsibly and creatively. She emphasized that universities should regularly organize such training programs to help teachers and researchers adapt to emerging technologies.

The workshop was held under the patronage and approval of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, reflecting the university leadership’s commitment to promoting modern technology and scientific innovation through practical initiatives.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Department of Applied Psychology, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. It was coordinated by Chairman Department of Applied Psychology, Professor Dr. Muhammad Saleem, in collaboration with Urdu AI representative Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan.

During the workshop, participants were introduced to practical examples demonstrating how modern AI tools can be effectively used in teaching, research, academic writing, and data analysis. The speakers also stressed the importance of maintaining ethical principles and academic integrity while using artificial intelligence in academic settings.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants expressed hope that such academic and training initiatives would play a significant role in promoting digital skills, improving research quality, and advancing modern educational practices in universities.
