Free travel by Orange Line train, Metro bus ends on June 13

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) The facility of free travel in public transport including Orange Line Train, Metro Bus, and Speedo bus services in Lahore and other cities has been abolished.

According to the Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) sources, the Punjab government has decided to withdraw the free travel relief from June 13 (tomorrow).

The government had provided free travel facility to provide relief to citizens due to the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

According to the authorities, this facility was given on a temporary basis, after which public transport will be operated as per the normal fares.
