Free textbooks distributed among over 250 students at LUMHS Public School

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Vice Chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro Professor Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan distributed free textbooks among more than 250 students at LUMHS Public School.

On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor interacted with students and discussed their education and future goals. He advised them to develop a habit of studying quality books and to adopt hard work as their guiding principle so they could bring pride not only to their parents but also to their city and country.

Addressing the teachers, he emphasized that ensuring quality education and the proper grooming of the younger generation was their foremost responsibility.

According to the LUMHS spokesperson, during the ceremony, he also appreciated the efforts of the school’s teachers and administration. The Vice Chancellor issued directives for the installation of additional cold drinking water machine and complete repainting of the school building.

At the conclusion of the event, students and their parents appreciated the initiative, terming it a valuable support for educational activities amid rising inflation. Focal person LUMHS Shahid Rehman Khattak, Principal Ms. Kanwal Lakho, RM Zakir Khan and other teachers were also present on the occasion.
