Four outlaws held, Kalashnikov recovered in Tank police operations

TANK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) The Tank Police have arrested four suspects in separate operations against criminal elements, recovering a Kalashnikov rifle along with 60 rounds of ammunition during the crackdown.

The actions were carried out under the directives of District Police Officer Abdul Samad Khan, who has emphasized eliminating crime and strengthening law and order across the district.

Following these directives, targeted operations are being conducted to curb illegal weapons possession and apprehend wanted suspects.

During a search and strike operation supervised by DSP Rural Circle Haji Kifayatullah Marwat, a team of Gul Imam Police Station arrested Muhammad Yasir son of Abdul Jabbar, a resident of Rodi Khel and recovered a Kalashnikov along with 60 cartridges from his possession.

In a separate action under the supervision of DSP City Circle Imran Khattak, a team of Shaheed Mureed Akbar Police Station arrested three suspects wanted in different cases. The arrested accused included Saif ur Rehman, Nazeer Ahmed and Matiullah.

The police officials said operations against criminal elements will continue to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property and to maintain lasting peace in the district.
