Four held as ANF seizes drugs worth over Rs11 million

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Mar, 2026) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out four operations in different parts of the country, arresting four drug peddlers and recovered 60.7 kilograms of drugs worth more than Rs11.1 million.

According to an ANF spokesperson, the operations were conducted as part of the force’s ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking networks.

During an international drug interdiction at Islamabad International Airport, ANF recovered 340 ecstasy pills weighing 184 grams from the luggage of a passenger bound for Dubai. The suspect was taken into custody.

In an inter-provincial operation near Khanewal Toll Plaza, ANF team seized 24 kilograms of hashish concealed in an oil tanker and arrested two accused.

In separate domestic operations, 1.5 kilograms of hashish were recovered from an accused near Sahu Chowk in Multan. In another raid near Gawadar, Balochistan, 35.1 kilograms of ice (crystal meth) were confiscated from a compound.

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, and further investigations are underway.
