Four gamblers held

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Police in Layyah carried out successful operations against gambling and narcotics activities, arresting multiple suspects and registering cases against them.

According to police sources, the Punjab Police at Choubara Police Station conducted a raid and arrested four alleged gamblers identified as Zulfiqar, Javed, Nadeem, and Rashid.

Authorities recovered gambling money from the scene and registered cases against all four suspects before shifting them to lockup.

In a separate operation, ASI Kifayatullah, along with his police team, arrested a notorious drug dealer identified as Muhammad Yousaf. Police recovered 20 liters of locally brewed liquor from his possession. A case has been registered, and the suspect has been taken into custody.
