Four-day screening drive begins

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Special screening camps will be established across the district from May 14 to 17 to provide free medical screening and healthcare facilities to citizens.

According to health department sources on Wednesday, 11 screening camps will be set up during the four-day campaign at Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals in Kunjah, Lalamusa, Dinga, Kharian and Sarai Alamgir.

The camps will also be established at Rural Health Centres in Shadiwal, Pindi Sultan Pur and Sarai Alamgir, besides Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics in Fatehpur, Mundair and Bolani.

Free facilities including blood screening, tuberculosis (TB) testing, hepatitis screening and HIV testing will be provided at the camps. Free of charge medicines will also be distributed among deserving patients.

Citizens have been urged to take full advantage of the initiative and visit the camps with their family members for timely medical screening and healthcare services.
