Four bodies recovered from different areas

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The bodies of a woman, two men and a child were recovered from different areas of Lahore on Thursday. The police are busy investigating.

According to Rescue-1122 officials, the body of a 35-year-old woman was recovered from the river at Bungi Lalu area, a place on the Ravi River near Pattoki Halla, but her identity could not be ascertained.

The rescue team fished out the body and handed it over to the police. Meanwhile, the body of a 14-year-old boy was recovered from fields in Nathoki village of Kasur. The boy was identified as Afzal, son of Din Muhammad, who had been missing for two days.

A case of kidnapping was registered. Apparently, no signs of violence were found on the body. The police registered a case and took the body into custody and started investigation.

The body of a 65-year-old unidentified man was recovered from a greenbelt near a pedestrian bridge in Mustafabad area, and the police shifted it to Bulleh Shah District Hospital, Kasur, for postmortem and started search for the heirs.

Also, the body of an unidentified man was found in the Rohi drain near the vegetable market in Kahna. The police have started legal proceedings.
