According to official sources, the inspection team—comprising the municipal magistrate and a veterinary doctor—conducted checks at various milk and meat shops across the city to assess hygiene standards and compliance with prescribed SOPs.

During the visit, milk samples were collected from multiple outlets and sent to laboratories for quality testing.

Officials said further action would be taken based on the results of the samples to ensure food safety standards are strictly enforced.

Authorities reiterated that such inspections would continue to safeguard public health and ensure that food businesses comply with hygiene regulations.
