ISLAMABAD:
The Ministry of National Food Security has decided to supply wheat to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in line with directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. According to the directives, the premier ordered the Ministry of Food Security to supply wheat through the Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (Passco). Minister for Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain, in his statement, said that the aim of this move by prime minister is to protect the people of K-P from the effects of inflation. He further said instructions have been issued to ensure immediate and effective wheat supply through PASSCO.
