Food dept. launches crackdown against sale of adulterated , substandard milk in Nawabshah

NAWABHAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Deputy Director Food Naveed Abbas Zardari and his team launched a major crackdown against the sale of adulterated and substandard milk in Nawabshah. Food authorities inspected various areas of the city and collected milk samples from several shops and suppliers for testing.

According to food officials, detailed inspections were carried out to examine hygiene standards and the quality of milk, while legal action has also been initiated against those found selling contaminated and poor-quality milk. Deputy Director Naveed Abbas Zardari said that ensuring the supply of pure, standard, and safe milk to citizens is top priority of Food Authority. He said that operations against adulteration mafia would be intensified further. He also directed shopkeepers and suppliers to strictly follow hygiene and safety standards, warning that strict legal action would be taken against violators.
