FM Dar to attend OIC-CFM session in Jeddah

ISLAMABAD:

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to travel to Jeddah today to attend an emergency meeting of the OIC, diplomatic sources said on Tuesday.

They said Dar will participate in the Council of Foreign Ministers' emergency session of the OIC Executive Committee, scheduled for February 26. The meeting is being convened against the backdrop of the evolving situation in Palestine.

The session is expected to take up, in particular, recent decisions and measures declaring lands in the occupied West Bank as Israeli property. Diplomatic sources said member states are likely to issue a strong condemnation.
