Flight operations partially restored on some routes to Gulf countries

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Flight operations have been partially restored on some routes from Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi to Gulf countries.

According to aviation sources, full flight operations have been restored for Saudi Arabia and partial flight operations for Dubai.

Flynas's flight to Riyadh and FlyJinnah's flight to Jeddah are preparing to take off, while check-in for Saudi Airlines' flights to Riyadh and Jeddah has begun.

Air Sial's flight to Jeddah also arrived at the terminal for check-in, while Air Blue's flights to Dubai and Air Sial's flights to Abu Dhabi have been canceled.

Gulf Air's flight to Dammam has not been canceled and is included in the schedule, but Qatar Airways' Doha and Salam Air's flights to Muscat have been canceled.

Similarly, Etihad Air's Abu Dhabi and Air Sial's flights to Dubai have been canceled, while check-in for the national airline's flights to Dubai and Sharjah has begun, and check-in for Fly Dubai's flight FZ 979 to Dubai has also begun.
