Flag March held Police and Rangers jointly for Muharram ul Haram security in Larkana

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) On the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry, a joint flag march was conducted by the Larkana Police and the 82 Wing Sindh Rangers to tighten security arrangements on the occasion of Muharram-ul-Haram and Youm-e-Ashur here on Wednesday.

The flag march was attended by a large number of participants, including SHOs from various police stations, Traffic Sergeants, firefighters of the 15 Madadgar (Rescue/Volunteer Force), and other police officers and personnel, along with In-charge DIB Inspector Ali Bakhsh Dahanio, and Rangers officers and troops. Police and Rangers vehicles, as well as motorcycles of the 15 Madadgar, were also part of the flag march.

The flag march commenced from SSP Chowk and passed through Begum Nusrat Bhutto Overhead Bridge, Station Road, Baqrani Road, Sial Chowk, Amir Road, Bandar Road, Nishter Road, New Bus Terminal, GT Road, Sheikh Zayed Chowk, Sherin Amir Begum Bhutto Overhead Bridge, Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Shahrah Raza Shah Pahlavi, Allama Mashriqi Road, and Hyat Muhammad Khan Sherpao Road, covering a tour of the entire city before concluding back at SSP Chowk.

The objective of the flag march is to instill a sense of security among citizens and maintain a strict watch over mischievous elements.

On the other hand, Larkana Police are also continuing their targeted operations, including search and combing operations, to bring anti-social elements and criminals to justice.
