Five cattle sale points setup in district

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th May, 2026) The district administration has set up five official sale points in Sialkot for the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

According to the spokesperson here on Saturday, two sale points have been established in tehsil Sialkot at Akbarabad Chowk and Goloo Phala on Wazirabad Road, while two points in tehsil Daska have been set up at Sheer Da Kot, Jessarwala.

In tehsil Sambrial, a sale point has been established near the Export Processing Zone on University Road opposite Sialkot-Wazirabad Road, while in tehsil Pasrur the point has been set up near the General Bus Stand.

The administration has provided facilities including sheds for animals, clean drinking water, fodder, sanitation, drainage, lighting, and security arrangements at all locations.

Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Muhammad Zubair Wattoo said veterinary and health camps, Rescue 1122 services, banking facilities, ATMs, waiting areas and seating arrangements had also been arranged for traders and citizens.

He said all facilities are being provided free of charge and the sale points will remain open round the clock until the third day of Eid-ul-Azha.
