Finance Bill 2026 introduced in NA

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Finance and Revenue Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Friday introduced the Finance Bill 2026 in the National Assembly, seeking legal effect for the Federal government's financial proposals for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2026, and amendments to certain existing laws.

The minister also laid the Annual Budget Statement for the fiscal year 2026–27 before the House, including the revised estimates for 2025–26.

In addition, he presented the Demands for Grants and Appropriations for 2026–27, along with the Regular and Technical Supplementary Grants for the fiscal years 2024–25 and 2025–26.

Aurangzeb further laid the Excess Budget Statements for the fiscal years 2016–17 and 2024–25 before the National Assembly.
