ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Islamabad offloaded a passenger traveling abroad after detecting allegedly fake immigration stamps on his passport during scrutiny at Islamabad International Airport.
An official told APP on Sunday that passenger Haroon ur Rashid was travelling to Malaysia through Etihad Airways flight EY-301 when he was referred for secondary profiling on suspicion.
During the detailed examination, the official said allegedly fake immigration stamps of Pakistan, Thailand and Malaysia were found affixed on the passport.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Following a preliminary investigation, the passenger was shifted to FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) in Islamabad for further legal action and registration of a case.
The official said passports, mobile phones, foreign Currency, e-visa and other travel documents were also taken into custody from the accused.
According to FIA authorities, further investigation into the matter was underway.
