FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Faisalabad Zone of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three air passengers at the airport who were being deported from Sharjah to Pakistan for misusing family visas.
FIA officials said that the accused had traveled from Pakistan to Sharjah on March 13, 2026 under the pretext of family visas but attempted to travel alone. Initial investigations revealed that UAE immigration authorities intercepted the passengers and deported them back to Pakistan due to violations of visa conditions.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Ahmed Raza son of Asghar Ali resident of Chak No.247-GB Toba Tek Singh, Fawad Ibrahim son of Muhammad Ibrahim resident of Mohallah Mubarakpura Tandlianwala district Faisalabad and Muhammad Shoaib Habib son of Zulfiqar Ali resident of Chak No.
57-JB Faisalabad.
Further inquiries disclosed that the passengers had obtained visas through agents who altered the visa category from “family visa” to “sales representative” for unauthorized travel.
The accused also paid substantial amounts to these agents to facilitate the fraudulent arrangements.
Cases have been registered against the three passengers who have been taken into custody and investigations are ongoing against the agents involved in the illegal visa facilitation, FIA officials added.
