Festival held for Special children

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) A wonderful educational and recreational funfair was organized for the hearing-impaired female students of the Government Secondary school of Special education, Bahawalpur at the Special Park.

On this occasion, the students dressed in cultural attire,proudly showcased their traditional heritage and actively participated in the celebrations.

The girls enthusiastically took part in traditional games such as Kokla Chhapaki, Stappu, and the Chatti Race along with exciting activities including hula hoop, one-leg race,tug of war, and skipping rope competitions.

The lively atmosphere echoed with joy and laughter, making the event truly memorable. The students also benefited from the meal program provided by the Government of Punjab.

At the end of the event, Principal Imran Rahi and the students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner of Bahawalpur for renovating the park and enhancing it with flowers, swings, and other facilities to encourage and support special children.
