FESCO to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Eid holidays

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has finalized a comprehensive operational plan

to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and prompt complaint resolution across its region

during Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

FESCO Spokesman Muhammad Saeed Raza said on Tuesday that special teams had been constituted which

would remain on high alert throughout the Eid holidays while a dedicated monitoring cell has been

established at Fesco Headquarters to oversee power transmission and distribution round the clock

under his direct supervision.

He said that FESCO has assigned senior officers across its six operational circles, including First, Second, Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali and Toba Tek Singh to monitor load management, LT/HT breakdowns, customer complaints and other operational issues for immediate resolution.

He said that Chief Engineer Mubashar Hayat Rao would supervise First Circle, Chief Engineer (Planning & Design) Aamir Mehboob Elahi Second Circle, Chief Engineer (O&M T&G) Faisal Raza Marth Jhang Circle, Chief Engineer (Technical Services) Shehbaz Mahmood Sargodha Circle, Chief Engineer (Customer Services) Asghar Hussain Qazalbash Mianwali Circle, and Chief Engineer (Development) Muhammad Waqas Baig Toba Tek Singh Circle.

Similarly, the senior officers have been assigned duties at the Distribution Control Center on all Eid holidays to monitor field performance while Chief Engineer Operations Muhammad Saeed would act as coordinator and General Manager Operations Umar Hayat Gondal would oversee overall operational efficiency and staff performance.
