Fee per animal in cattle market cut by Rs 1,000

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) The district administration has cut the per animal fee in the model cattle market, Niamuana from Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,000 and urged the officers concerned to prominently display the new fee schedule.

Deputy Commissioner Cap (Retd) Nadeem Nasir visited the model cattle market and taking notice of some public complaints, announced to reduce the fees.

He said that no one would be allowed to overcharge the fees in the market.

He also assigned duties of revenue and civil defense staff to monitor and prevent overcharging in the market.

The Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to the Punjab Cleanliness Authority to further improve the standard of cleanliness in the model cattle market, while checking all the arrangements in the cattle market, including essential medicines at the livestock counter.
