Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Wednesday appreciated the high-quality training of Khuddam-ul-Hajaj for Hajj 2026 and said that the government would provide uniform and quality facilities of food, accommodation, and transport to pilgrims performing Hajj this year

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Wednesday appreciated the high-quality training of Khuddam-ul-Hajaj for Hajj 2026 and said that the government would provide uniform and quality facilities of food, accommodation, and transport to pilgrims performing Hajj this year.

He said that trained 'Khuddam-ul-Hajaj' were fully prepared to serve Pakistani pilgrims, maintain strict discipline, and address potential challenges in accordance with Saudi regulations.

The minister was addressing a certificate distribution ceremony held at the Hajj Complex in Islamabad, marking the completion of a 10-day training programme for 'Khuddam-ul-Hajaj' who were declared successful for Hajj 2026 through a competitive process.

Chief Financial Officer and Coordinator Khuddam-ul-Hajaj of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Zulfiqar Khan, Director Hajj Complex Islamabad Qazi Sami-ur-Rehman, and other officials of the ministry were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the successful candidates, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said that Allah Almighty had chosen them for a great responsibility.

He noted that out of nearly 38,000 candidates, 800 men and women had been selected as Khuddam-ul-Hajaj.

He said that serving the guests of Allah was not only a duty but a great honor, adding that this service also brought the blessings of Umrah and prayers.

He remarked that just as the Saudi monarch takes pride in the title of “Khudam al-Haramain al-Sharifeen,” serving the pilgrims was a source of success in this world and the hereafter.

The minister further said that while worship benefits an individual personally, serving pilgrims was a form of worship whose reward and status, due to the pleasure of Allah, could be even greater.
