Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis&HRD officially launched the National Emmigration and Welfare Policy 2026

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain officially launched the National emmigration and Welfare Policy 2026.

Speaking on the occasion, the Federal Minister said that this policy is a historic step towards protecting the rights of overseas Pakistanis, safe and legal emmigration, preparing a skilled workforce and creating new employment opportunities.

Five fundamental reforms have been introduced under the policy, which include safe and legal immigration, skill development, protection of workers, welfare of overseas Pakistanis and rehabilitation and re-employment upon return.

Through these reforms, the workforce training system will be upgraded to global standards, employment opportunities will be sought in new global markets, and the immigration process will be made more transparent and easier through a modern digital system.

The policy will provide safe, dignified and better employment opportunities to every Pakistani worker. The ceremony was attended by foreign diplomats, international organizations, federal and provincial officials and other important figures.
