MIRPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and Safron Engineer Amir Muqam on Monday visited the shrines of renowned spiritual figures Hazrat Baba Peera Shah Ghazi, also known as Damri Wali Sarkar, and mystic poet Hazrat Mian Muhammad Bakhsh at Khari Sharif, where he offered Fateha for the elevation of their ranks.
During the visit, the federal minister prayed for the promotion of peace, unity, and prosperity in the country and paid tribute to the spiritual and literary legacy of the revered saints, who are widely respected across the subcontinent.
He was accompanied by several political figures, including former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan, former ministers Malik Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Chaudhry Rukhsar Ahmed, Syed Shaukat Ali Shah, Raja Fateh Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Razzaq, Colonel (Retd) Muhammad Maroof, former Chairman Red Crescent AJK Chaudhry Ijaz Raza, District President PML-N Chaudhry Javed Qadir, Malik Sohail Awan, Sardar Tariq, and others.
