FDE notifies Ramazan timings for educational institutions

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) The Federal Directorate of education (FDE) on Wednesday notified revised timings for the holy month of Ramazan for

all educational institutions, operating under its administrative control.

According to a notification issued by Assistant Director Academics Abid Ali Khan with the approval of the Director General FDE, institutions observing single-shift classes will operate from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, while on Friday classes will conclude at 12:00 pm. The same schedule will also be applicable to Ex-F.G. Colleges.

For double-shift institutions, the Morning shift will be held from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm from Monday to Friday. The Evening shift will operate from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Friday.

The revised timings will remain in effect throughout Ramazan to facilitate students and staff in observing the holy month.
