FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General (DG) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has said that FDA services have been aligned with digital technology and several services are now being provided online to enable citizens to access departmental facilities from the comfort of their homes.
Listening to public complaints during an open court at his office under the Punjab government’s open-door policy, he issued directives to the relevant officers for the resolution of their problems.
Speaking to the applicants, he said that the prompt resolution of public issues is the top priority. In this regard, a departmental monitoring system is being implemented to ensure that no application or file remains pending without justification and that relief is provided within the stipulated timeline.
Meanwhile, during a meeting with residents of FDA City, the Director General assured them that no negligence would be tolerated in the provision of basic facilities.
He said special attention is being given to cleanliness, maintenance of green belts and parks, and security arrangements, while a help desk is actively working to address the problems faced by allottees.
The DG FDA further stated that operations against illegal housing schemes are continuing. He advised citizens to verify the legal status of any housing scheme before purchasing plots or making investments to safeguard their savings.
He also ordered immediate action against illegal constructions and encroachments upon receiving complaints, adding that the land mafia will not be allowed to operate.
The DG directed relevant officers to ensure complete protection of government properties and assets and to maintain strict monitoring.
