FC man martyred in Tank targetted attack

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) An Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel identified as Mujib was martyred after an unidentified gunmen opened fire on him in Tank district on Monday.

Tank police informed, the incident took place on Ali Khel Road within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station.

Police said, Mujib, who was on leave and had returned home, was traveling from his village Ali Khel to Tank city for some personal work when armed attackers targeted him.

Rescue 1122 officials shifted the body of the deceased to the DHQ Hospital.

Police have registered a case and launched a search operation in the area to trace the attackers.
