Fatal collision on Kohat road claims woman’s life, leaves three injured

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) A tragic road accident near College Mor on Kohat Road in Fateh Jang claimed the life of a 37-year-old woman and left three others injured, two of them in critical condition, rescue officials confirmed on Saturday.

According to initial reports, the collision occurred between an oil tanker and a passenger car, resulting in the woman—identified as the wife of Muhammad Banaras—dying on the spot. Among the injured were a 32-year-old woman, wife of Muhammad Iqbal, a four-year-old child, Rehan, and a 52-year-old man, Iqbal.

All victims are reported to be residents of Kohat.

Rescue 1122 teams responded swiftly to the emergency call, launching immediate relief operations at the scene. The rescuers provided first aid before shifting the deceased and the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Fateh Jang.

Officials stated that two of the injured were in critical condition and were being shifted to Rawalpindi through rescue ambulances for advanced medical treatment. Authorities have initiated further investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
