Farmers Unity holds rally to support armed forces

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) Farmers Unity organized a solidarity rally outside the local Press Club to express unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces and to condemn alleged aggression by neighbouring Afghanistan.

A large number of farmers, traders and citizens from different walks of life participated in the gathering.

The participants carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of the Pakistan Armed Forces and against hostile actions. The rally echoed with chants expressing unity, patriotism and commitment to stand by the armed forces during challenging times.

Speakers at the event said the nation would never leave its defenders alone and would fully support them in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Addressing the media, President of Farmers Unity Khalid Mahmood Khokhar said the leadership and personnel of the armed forces deserved great appreciation for their courage, professionalism and readiness to respond to any threat.

He said the sacrifices rendered by martyrs for the protection of the homeland could never be forgotten.

He added that Pakistan had always regarded Afghanistan as a brotherly country and desired peaceful

relations, but expressed sorrow over what he termed hostile actions and support for unrest inside Pakistan. He said such acts had hurt the sentiments of the Pakistani people.
